Retrofitting: options discussed at Forum workshop

The Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum held a lively discussion about ways to retrofit Victorian houses following its AGM on 12 March 2024.

The speakers were Andrea Lally Kukrika, a Forum committee member whose family have refitted their Victorian house to Passivhaus standard; Katharina Schauer, Forum committee member; Maggie Tapa, sustainability officer, Camden; and Ben Owen, retrofit coordinator at Ecofurb, a consultancy.

About 50 people attended the discussion at the Hampstead Community Centre, which was chaired by Janine Griffis, Forum committee member and former chair.
